Maxime Laurent is a senior policy advisor at the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance, working on the regulatory architecture for digital assets, AI in financial services and cross-border data flows. Before joining the federal government he held senior counsel roles at two Swiss banks and represented Switzerland in OECD working groups on digital finance. He brings the operational reading of regulation that practitioners rarely get from the public-affairs side.
